About
Jessica Sparschu PT, DPT
Dr. Jessica Sparschu was born and raised here in Murfreesboro. She attended Blackman High School and received her Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from The University of Tennessee (GO VOLS!). She then went on to attend Belmont University where she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
While at Belmont, she gained several credentials including becoming a Selective Functional Movement Assessment Certified Practitioner, an Impact concussion Management Trained Physical therapist and received advanced training in Dry Needling. Dr. Sparschu has a strong background in biomechanics and orthopedics which allows her to provide the highest level of functional and clinical assessment to direct her skilled treatment.
Jessica spent many years as a competitive dancer and dance instructor. Her first hand experience and love for dance resulted in her taking a special interest in dancers and performing arts athletes. She stays up to date on the latest research and evidence based treatments, understands dance injuries from the athlete, coach, and sports medicine perspective, and is passionate about helping dancers and other athletes return to the sport they love!
In her free time, Jessica enjoys strength training at SETS Hybrid Training, cheering on the VOLS, spending time with her friends and family, and cuddling up with her dog, Bruno.
